Kite Trainer 3D is a free, no-download practice arena for League of Legends ADC mechanics. It recreates the part of the game you can never isolate in a real match: the attack-move-attack rhythm that separates a marksman who does full damage while retreating from one who stands still and dies. Pick a champion, pick a drill, and repeat it as many times as you want against bots that use real attack timings, real ability ranges and real windup durations.
Every auto-attack in League has two halves. The windup is the part that must finish for the projectile to leave your hands. The recovery afterwards does nothing at all — it is dead time the game gives back to you if you interrupt it with a movement command. Orb walking, also called kiting, is cancelling that recovery on every single attack so you cover ground between shots without giving up damage.
The golden rule is one sentence: never move during your windup. Fire, then move, then fire. Move too early and the attack is wasted entirely; move too late and you have stood still for no reason and a Darius is now on top of you. The window between those two mistakes is what this trainer drills.
Melee champions run you down while you retreat and keep firing. This is the core orb-walking loop against pressure — Darius closes and slows, Zed dashes through walls, Blitzcrank tries to hook you out of position.
A stream of real skillshots with real cast times, travel speeds and collision widths. Hard crowd control ends the round; poke just chunks your health, so you can keep practising your dodging instead of resetting every few seconds.
Minion waves with correct health, damage and gold values, so you can drill the timing of a clean CS without the pressure of a live lane.
Pick up to two enemy champions who both auto-attack and cast their abilities at you, and fight them with your own full kit.
Attack speed, base attack damage, attack range, windup percentage, projectile speed, ability cooldowns and ability ranges are taken from live champion data rather than approximated. You can set your level anywhere from 1 to 18, buy real items, or lock your attack speed to a fixed value between 0.4 and 2.5 to drill one exact rhythm until it is automatic. Attack-move on cursor — the setting nearly every professional player uses, where A targets the enemy nearest your mouse instead of nearest your champion — is on by default, and every key is rebindable.
Anyone playing a marksman who loses fights they should win. If you find yourself standing still to attack, walking into hooks, getting run down by bruisers, or cancelling your own autos and doing half your damage, these are mechanical habits and mechanical habits are built by repetition. Ten focused minutes here is worth more repetitions than an hour of games.
